"The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) hired the National Collective Bargaining Institute to assist us with our CUPE contract renewal.  Jay was able to lead our discussions in a very efficient and productive manner that enabled us to get a longer term deal than we originally anticipated, and both parties were very satisfied with the outcome, leading to a quick ratification of our new four-year agreement.  As well, Jay’s work was coordinated with one of our member municipalities, the Town of Qualicum Beach, which enabled us to maintain communication about our bargaining objectives and ensure consistency between our local governments.  Thanks to this well coordinated and efficient work, we will continue to have a strong relationship with our CUPE local, and we were able to achieve important non-monetary objectives which will be very beneficial for our future years of this agreement.  Thank you, Jay!!"
